Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport, considered one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day, be enthralled by the breathtaking views of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum, and the majestic Nun Kun massif from the aircraft. Our representative will be waiting to greet you upon arrival and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Take the day to rest and acclimatize, enjoying a warm welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. In the evening, visit the serene Shanti Stupa and explore the local market for an hour. Return to the hotel or guesthouse for a comfortable overnight stay, ready to embark on your Leh Ladakh adventure.

Day 2

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a scenic drive along the River Indus on the Leh-Kargil Highway. Our first stop is the renowned Hall of Fame, a museum constructed by the Indian Army, which is a must-visit for every Indian. Continuing our journey, we proceed to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, nestled deep in the Himalayas. A 4-kilometer drive takes us to the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where the laws of gravity seem to be defied. As we drive through picturesque landscapes, we reach the Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, a mesmerizing sight to behold. After exploring these remarkable places, we drive back to Leh, with an enroute visit to the splendid Spituk Monastery, built in the 15th century. Once we return to Leh, the rest of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy as you please.

Day 3

After a satisfying breakfast, we embark on a thrilling drive to Khardung La, known as the Highest Motorable Road in the World, situated at an elevation of 5,602 meters (18,390 feet). The journey covers approximately 39 kilometers from Leh. As we reach the pass, an awe-inspiring panorama unfolds before our eyes. Gaze southward to behold the vast expanse of the Indus valley, with its endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range. Look northward to marvel at the mighty Saser massif. The views from the top of the pass are truly breathtaking. We then return to the hotel in time for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through the bustling market (at your own pace), where you can soak up the local atmosphere and explore the vibrant shops. Enjoy a delectable dinner at the hotel and spend a comfortable overnight stay, relishing the memories of the day’s adventures.

Day 4

After an invigorating early breakfast, we set out on a mesmerizing journey to Pangong Lake, passing through the renowned Changla Pass at an impressive altitude of 5,486 meters. As we ascend through the winding roads, we make a stop at Changla Pass for a quick photo session, capturing the breathtaking vistas. Continuing our drive, we reach the charming village of Tangtse, where we take a refreshing break and enjoy a cup of tea. From Tangtse, we traverse through the scenic Changthang region, passing quaint villages, until we are greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of Pangong Lake. This renowned blue brackish lake stretches over 133 kilometers, with a portion of its expanse crossing the “INDO CHINA BORDER.” Standing on its shores at an elevation of 14,000 feet (4,267 meters), one feels intimately connected to nature and the environment, surrounded by unforgettable scenery. After immersing ourselves in the beauty of Pangong Lake, we begin our journey back to Leh in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and indulge in your own activities. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Leh, cherishing the memories of this remarkable day.
